Netflix tells me that I like “fight-the-system” movies. And that Stir Crazy is a fight-the-system movie – in the vein of a movie about a tobacco whistleblower and a documentary about food production. So, in order: doubtful, fearful, intrigued, enthusiastic, sad, snarky.

My sis Katie taught Nietzsche at Deep Springs a couple of years ago; that fact brought German philosophy back into our lives.
